Sweets You Can Eat is a company that produces vegan and gluten-free baked goods. This project is the Sweets You Can Eat logo I created. It also includes a selection of basic colors and fonts for use in branded materials, such as packaging and catalogs. My goal for the SYCE Logo was to create a design that is both clean and readable, while also maintaining a warm and welcoming feel. I also wanted to ensure that the logo conveyed a green and healthy vibe. It was also essential to have the logo include an icon that can be separated from the name and is easily scalable. This was because it would be necessary for other branding. Below, I go over the process that went into creating the logo.
After creating a mood board and compiling a list of information, such as desired colors, target audience, and iconography for the logo, etc. I created three pages of rough sketches of logo Ideas. One of these pages is shown here.
After the sketches were narrowed down, I created three draft versions of the logo, incorporating some ideas on how the text would be integrated. They were not fully finalized versions, but were mostly fully rendered.
Once the final logo was selected, I made font and color choices to match the logo and other required criteria. This was not a full branding guide but rather some additional font and color pairings.
